The Agency collaborates with 21 Local Government Areas (Joint services, Anambra State LGA Administrative Law,2024) in the state to scope and determine material, labour and personnel requirements needed to execute road repair projects, in line with the recommended pricing by the Bureau of Public Procurement. The Agency also, supervises road repair projects under a PPCP model for individuals and communities.
At Anambra State Road Maintenance Agency (ARMA), we believe that proper road maintenance is a shared responsibility between the government and the people. To ensure long-lasting, well-maintained roads, it is essential for every community member to follow best practices in road and drainage management.
To prevent road damage and enhance safety, we urge residents, businesses, and organizations to adhere to these guidelines:
Proper Waste Disposal
Responsible Water Management Practices
Good Construction Practices
Environmental Responsibility, etc.
Beyond road maintenance, ARMA is actively involved in traffic management to enhance vehicular movement across Anambra State. The agency provides essential support by:
Road Signage and Markings
Incident Response such potholes repairs, obstruction clearance and many more.
